Ingredients:
🥩New York Strip Steak
🥗FOR THE SALAD
🫛500 grams boiled green beans
🥔500 grams boiled potatoes
🫒plenty of extra virgin olive oil
🌿fresh basil leaves
🧂Salt to taste
🍋juice of one lemon
🫙Dijon mustard
🧂Black pepper
Clean the green beans, rinse them and blanch them for about 15 minutes in salted boiling water. Drain and transfer them to ice water. Wash the potatoes. Put them in a pot full of water. Cook the potatoes. When the potatoes are cooked, peel them. Break them into pieces and place them in a bowl with the green beans. Season immediately, while still warm, with the vinaigrette of extra virgin olive oil, mustard, and basil. Adjust salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
🌶️FOR THE CHIMICHURRI SAUCE
•2-4 minced garlic cloves
•50 g fresh parsley
•hot chili pepper
•1 teaspoon oregano
•1 teaspoon thyme
•1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
•75 g chopped spring onion
•100 ml oil
•50 ml white vinegar
•Salt and pepper to taste
•15 ml fresh lemon juice
Mix the ingredients and season with oil and lemon, let it rest. Grill your NY Strip Steak and serve it with the sauce and potato salad.
